Clinton schedules make for scintillating reading
by WonkoKevin
Hillary Clinton’s long-awaited daily schedules have been publicly released at the William J. Clinton Library web site. Forget McCain’s Iraq trip, or The Speech, or even Spitzer. Drop it all and start reading Hillary’s schedules. I got caught with a tear in my eye with the following typical passage, from 1/31/1993:
8:00 The President and Mrs. Clinton arrive state floor via grand staircase and proceed to east room via Cross Hall. Attire: Black tie. Pool press.
Guests are seated for dinner following receiving line.
8:30 The President and Mrs. Clinton proceed to state dining room.
Toasts by the President and Gov. Roy Roemer.
8:45 Following toast, dinner is served.
(Note: At conclusion of the Superbowl football game, the President will call the winner of the football game. Phone number and contacts will be provided.)
10:00 Following desert, the The President and Mrs. Clinton proceed to Blue Room to greet after-dinner guests.
10:15 The President and Mrs. Clinton enter East Room via Cross Hall and are seated for entertainment.
10:45 Performance concludes. The President and Mrs. Clinton then depart East Room for dancing and mix and mingle in the Grand Foyer. (Note: Some reporters may be in the room at this point.)
11:30 The President and Mrs. Clinton depart Grand Foyer via elevator en route residence.
DANCE, MIX, and MINGLE–Heavens, what other juicy tidbits await us?
