Anybody but Clinton. That’s what this election is all about.
As OTB points out, the results of a recent Rasumussen poll show that the results of matchups between any Republican candidate versus Hillary Clinton are primarily driven by peoples’ attitudes towards Clinton. The latest poll shows that Ron Paul would get beaten in a head-to-head matchup with Clinton, 48% to 38%. The detailed statistical analysis shows that the ratio is the same whether people knew who Ron Paul was or not; and Clinton’s 48% is virtually identical to her numbers in other matchups. From Rasmussen: “There are three separate races making up the Election 2008 Presidential competition: the race for the Democratic nomination, the race for the Republican nomination, and the general election. All three share one unifying theme—Hillary Clinton”
