Bzzz… on Clinton

Jiminy, Hillary Clinton got 50% of buzz share from liberal bloggers and 80% of the conservative bloggers attention to Dems yesterday in Wonksophere. Can you feel the Big Mo? President Bush gave the nomination nod to Clinton, and Edwards-advisor Joe Trippi said, ““You used to be able to say the front-runners — her and Obama — but I don’t think that’s the case anymore. It’s pretty clear that she has sort of pulled away.” In response to the visit to Columbia University by Iranian president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Clinton responded: “Well, if I were a president of the university, I would not have invited him. He’s a Holocaust denier. He’s a supporter of terrorism. But I also respect the right in our country to make different decisions,” (Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer). She laid out her health care plan on five different Sunday morning talk shows, and per usual, liberals yawned and conservatives screamed. Liberals bloggers were positive on the announcement that Evan Bayh is going to endorse Clinton today; this appears to indicate growing consolidation in the Democratic Leadership Council behind Clinton.
