While some “innovators” on the religious right have long-ago adopted the new media, an upcoming conference seeks to expand the power of religion into Web 2.0.  GodblogCon will take place November 8-9 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.  From the web site, “GodblogCon 2007 will equip you with a working knowledge of new media technologies and its impact on society, empowering your ministry to employ quickly and easily new media technologies to engage culture for the cause of Christ.”  The meeting is part of the Blog World Expo. It will be interesting to see what effects, if any, these efforts have concerning increasing the voice of the religious right within the conservative Wonkosphere.
